Waterfalls
Mençuna Waterfall
A waterfall reached on foot through the wooded Kamilet Valley.
A closer look
Mençuna takes you from Arhavi’s coastal setting into its wooded hinterland. The final approach to this Kamilet Valley waterfall is on foot, so driving time alone is not enough when planning the visit. The sound of water and dense vegetation make the approach part of the experience.
Ortacalar’s twin bridges can be considered for the same outing. Set aside additional time and suitable footwear for the waterfall trail; even a short walk can become demanding in wet conditions.
