About this itinerary

Use Hadrian’s Gate as your starting and meeting point. Spend time looking at the arches and stone details before entering the streets of Kaleiçi.

The second stop is a living neighbourhood rather than a single monument. Do not treat the Kaleiçi pin as a ticket office or a required finishing point. Combine streets, historic facades and viewpoints at a pace that suits you.

Transport plan

This is a walking plan. If you arrive by car, arrange parking and access to the starting point separately; do not assume vehicle access through narrow streets. Stone surfaces, steps and slopes may occur. The map does not provide a verified step-free walking route.

Visiting tips

Allow a flexible 3–4 hours for the gate, wandering and breaks. Add water and rest stops in sunny weather. Respect private areas of homes and businesses; indoor visits and spending are not included in the plan.

On multi-day trips, markers show day.stop numbers. Directions are listed in each daily plan.
